PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Almost 2,000 people attended the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Sunday in Providence.
The event kicked off at 10 a.m. at Roger Williams Park with 12 News anchor Mike Montecalvo once again serving as the emcee for the opening ceremonies of the event.
More than $230,000 has been raised for the event.
There are more than 6 million people in America who are living with Alzheimer’s.
