SCITUATE, R.I. (WPRI) — The excessive flooding over the past 24 hours caused a road in Scituate to fall apart on Tuesday.
It happened on Brandy Brook Road as it passes above the brook of the same name, which was nearly overflowing with water.
An excavator was on the scene making repairs Tuesday afternoon.
