Police ID suspect in Salvation Army theft

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have identified the suspect who they say broke into and stole from a Salvation Army earlier this month.

According to the North Providence Police Department, 44-year-old Adam Rogers was identified as the man responsible for breaking into the Salvation Army on Smith Street.

Police said Rogers was seen on surveillance footage stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and change from two candy machines.

Anyone with information on Rogers’ whereabouts is asked to contact the North Providence Police Department at (401) 231-4533.
