BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) – Firefighters were able to stop a garage fire from causing much damage to a home in Burrillville Friday night.
The fire broke out around 7 p.m. at a home off East Wallum Lake Road.

Firefighters and trucks from several nearby departments also responded to the scene for the two-alarm fire.
Fire officials said nobody was injured, but the detached two-bay garage was a total loss.
The nearby house sustained some minor damage.
