RIDOH recommends reopening two Tiverton beaches for swimming

TIVERTON, R.I. (WPRI) — The Rhode Island Department of Health has recommended two Tiverton beaches for reopening for swimming.

Officials said that the bacteria counts have returned to safe levels at both Fogland and Grinnell’s Beaches.

The Department of Health will keep monitoring and reviewing beach water quality regularly to ensure safe swimming throughout the summer.
