Freetown man, 25, killed in Portsmouth motorcycle crash

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — Police on Monday identified a Massachusetts man who died over the weekend following a motorcycle crash in Portsmouth.

According to Portsmouth police, Jagger Gibeault crashed around 4:45 p.m. Saturday on the Boyds Lane on-ramp to Route 24 North. 

Gibeault, 25, of East Freetown, was rushed to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said it appeared he was the only person involved in the crash.

The cause remains under investigation.
