LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — With the NCAA Tournament underway, sports betting at Twin River Casino is alive and thriving.
To accommodate the rush of sports fans looking to place their bets, the casino rolled out new sports betting kiosks in hopes of lowering wait times.
General Manager Craig Sculos said between the Twin River and Tiverton Casinos there are 22 self-service sports betting kiosks now available for bettors to use.
“We are pleased to expand this amenity to now include a self-service option for wagering on sports,” Sculos said.
In addition to the kiosks, both casinos have extended sports betting hours for Friday and Saturday in anticipation of a rush.
Sculos said he’s seen bigger crowds thanks to March Madness and hopes it will continue to boost revenue for the program.
“The foot traffic has been strong, so we’re just grateful that every day goes, it’s building,” he said.
