Robbery suspect turns himself in to police

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A man with an active warrant out of Pawtucket for robbery, has turned himself into police.

Police say Dustin French, 31, turned himself in on Friday after they say he robbed oMa Hair Design on Cottage St. earlier this week.

He is charged with four counts of 1st-degree robbery and one count of larceny under $1,500. Police say there may be additional charges.

French is expected back in court on Monday for a formal arraignment. He will also be presented as a probation violator.
