CUMBERLAND, R.I. (WPRI) — Police say a pedestrian was hit in the area of 1 Mendon Road on Saturday night.

The victim, a young adult man, has a lower-body injury, according to police.

Police said it is too early in their investigation to comment on whether any criminal charges will be filed.
