Police arrest Pawtucket cafe owner on drug charges

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police arrested the owner of a Pawtucket cafe Wednesday following an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of narcotics there.

According to the Pawtucket Police Department, officers served a court-ordered search warrant at Revive Smoothie and Cafe on Ann Mary Street. The search warrant was in connection to the investigation into the business.

Police arrested the owner, JT West, 40, of Providence after seizing approximately 250 grams of cocaine with a street value of $15,000, packaging materials and approximately $1,500 in cash.

West is facing several charges including possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, manufacturing, possessing and delivering cocaine (1oz-1kg) and maintaining a common nuisance.
