PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a man was critically injured in a shooting in Pawtucket Wednesday morning.
Officers rushed to an apartment on Pidge Avenue and found a 32-year-old man who’d been shot twice in the chest.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where police said he remains in critical, but stable condition.
Police said a person of interest was taken into custody and is facing unrelated drug charges.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
