Fire breaks out in Pawtucket home

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – Fire crews responded to a house fire at Main Street and Woodlawn Avenue Tuesday morning.

The flames broke out just after 9 a.m. in the three-story, multi-apartment residence.

Fire officials on scene reported heavy smoke and fire damage to the second floor, where the fire originated.

Twelve people currently live in the building, including several children. No injuries were reported.

Investigators said the fire was accidental. They’re now working to determine the cause.
