Cumberland residents cleanup the town for “Yellow Bag Day”

Blackstone Valley

More than 100 volunteers hit the streets in Cumberland to help cleanup the town.

The event, called “Yellow Bag Day”, is now in its 12th year.

The event is organized by Valley Breeze Publisher Tom Ward and some of those who help out include Lt Gov. Dan McKee and Mayor Bill Murray.

The volunteers split up into smaller groups then spread throughout the town in dozens of locations to clean.
