PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Seven people were forced from their home early Friday morning after a fire broke out in Pawtucket.

Crews responded to Oriole Avenue around 3 a.m. and found smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the home.

Battalion Chief Dave Cairrao said the four adults and three children inside were able to make it out safely.

No injures were reported and the Red Cross has been called in to assist the family.

It’s unclear what caused the fire at this time.
