WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Heavy flames and smoke could be seen coming from the roof of a Woonsocket business after a fire broke out Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Allied Auto Parts on Cumberland Hill Road around 10 a.m.
According to Deputy Fire Chief Roger Perreault, there were many combustibles inside the building at the time of the fire which added to the intensity of the heat.
Perreault said there were employees inside the building when the fire broke out, but they were all able to get out safely.
