PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A fire broke out at a Pawtucket business early Thursday morning.
Crews responded to the Factory Carpet Outlet on Esten Avenue around 3 a.m., which sits along I-95.
The sprinkler system was activated and is believed to have put the fire out, according to police.
Chemicals in the factory prompted a hazmat response.
The building was empty at the time and no injuries were reported.
No word on what may have caused the fire.
