Boy hit by car in Pawtucket suffered broken legs, arm

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A young boy broke his arm and both of his legs when he was hit by a vehicle Tuesday in Pawtucket, city police confirm.

According to police, the 9-year-old was struck at about 3:50 p.m. on Mineral Spring Avenue in the area of Slater Street.

The boy was transported to Hasbro Children’s Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Police said the driver, who stopped following the collision, was found to be not at fault and will not face charges.
