WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Islanders will soon be seeing some familiar faces on the A&E Network.

On June 1, the A&E show “Live PD” will begin filming with the Warwick Police Department.

“Live PD” is produced by Big Fish Entertainment and showcases various police departments across America in real time. The show captures how police departments conduct patrol operations showing what officers encounter overnight on weekends.

A film/production crew from the show will be traveling with Warwick police while out on patrol for the next few weeks. The community and viewing public will be able to get a closer look at the departments day to day operations.

The Warwick Police Department posted on its Facebook page, saying the officers are looking forward to “showcasing their hard work and commitment to keep the city safe.”

The Warwick Police Department will be the first agency in Rhode Island that will be featured on the show.

Anyone interested in the show can watch it on Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET.
