PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — An event held Saturday offered free breast and cervical cancer screenings for “underinsured and uninsured women.”
The “WomanCare” event, hosted by Lifespan, took place at Rhode Island Hospital.
A Lifespan spokesperson said fifty women were screened at the event.
There was also a complimentary lunch and health education materials were handed out to all attendees.
