In homage to Taylor Swift, retirement home residents make ‘Shake it Off’ video

(WCBD) — As Taylor Swift summers in Watch Hill, a group of 50 senior citizens, staff, and grandchildren from a retirement home in New Zealand spent a week making this special tribute to Rhode Island’s most famous resident.

The residents of Julia Wallace Retirement Village posted a video on YouTube, remaking Swift’s hit song “Shake it Off.”

According to the video, the average age of the residents in the video is 82, making for a combined age of more than 4,000 years.

These retirees proved you’re never too old to Shake It Off and have loads of fun.Watch the video:

They also released a video of the making of the music video, including hilarious behind-the-scenes pictures.
