In-depth coverage: Clinton named presumptive Democratic nominee


PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The focus in the presidential campaign is now on Hillary Clinton, who has been deemed the presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

The results came in overnight from the primaries is six states. Clinton made history when she qualified for the Democratic nomination. Rival Bernie Sanders says he will not be dropping out of the race until the last vote is counted.

Donald Trump quickly jumped on attempting to sway Sanders supporters to his campaign, announcing he will soon make a speech about the Clintons.
