(WPRI) — Frito Lay is recalling a small number of Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips because they may contain undeclared milk ingredients.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, the recall was initiated after it was discovered that 228 bags of Stacy’s Simply Naked Pita Chips were filled with another flavor of pita chips, potentially exposing consumers with milk allergies to the ingredient.

The FDA said one allergic reaction was reported in connection with the recall.

The chips were distributed nationwide and have a “Use By” date of April 23, 2019. They also have a manufacturing code of 65M127902.

The recalled bags also have a UPC code of 028400564632 listed on the bottom right side on the back of the bag.

The company is stressing that no other Stacy’s products are part of this recall.

Consumers who purchased the recalled product should return them to the place of purchase for a refund or contact Frito-Lay Consumer Relations at 1-800-352-4477 (9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. CST, Monday-Friday).
