Flames erupt from Cranston chicken coop

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – Police are investigating after a chicken coop at a private residence caught fire late Thursday.

Flames could be seen pouring out of the structure behind a Pleasant Street home around 11:30 p.m.

It is not yet known what caused the fire or if the chickens survived.
