Fire displaces several residents in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) – Crews in Fall River are investigating after an early morning fire forced several residents into the streets.

Flames broke out around 6 am Friday in a triple decker on Buffinton Street, reported the Fall River Fire Department.

Efforts from more than 20 firefighters got the flames under control quickly.

The Red Cross has been called in to assist the displaced residents.

Fall River FD said that no one was injured and there is no word of any cause yet.
