BOSTON (WPRI) — Fenway Park has hosted the World Series 10 times since its opening in 1912, and now it’s playing host again. But this time, to breastfeeding mothers.

Mamava is a free-standing lactation station/pod that offers moms a safe, clean, functional and comfortable space to pump or nurse.

The home of the Red Sox is the first MLB stadium to have a lactation pod.

Features of the portable suite include:

  • Dual seating for mama’s comfort preference and room for child or companion
  • Fold down table to situate a breast pump
  • Power outlet for breast pump
  • Space for stroller
  • Soft lighting
  • Clean-up supplies

On their website, the New England-based company said, “We are looking forward to seeing the way it contributes to the already glorious Fenway experience.”
