PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Many Patriots fans are cautiously optimistic ahead of Saturday’s game with the Baltimore Ravens.
“As long as the Patriots’ defensive line holds, we can win the game,” David Rothermel of Warwick told Eyewitness News. “Ultimately I’d love for a shout out victory, but we’ll take any victory we can get,” Giustino Cambio of North Providence added.

Even more excited about the game are local businesses, which are expecting to see a boost with the Pats in the playoffs.
“Any time you have large groups of people coming in, you’re going to have more business,” William Lewis said.
His restaurant, Ladder 133, has already taken more than 100 reservations for kickoff.
Local tourism officials estimate the Ravens, their fans, and media staying in Providence could spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in the city on hotel rooms, food, and other items — boosting what is otherwise a slow time of year.
