Northeast Alternatives currently sells medical cannabis at its location on William S. Canning Boulevard in Fall River.
The company was issued a provisional license for retail marijuana sales in September, indicating in their application they would be able to start retail sales within three months. In December, the company received its final retail license.
To accommodate neighbors and alleviate traffic, Northeast Alternatives CEO Chris Harkins said they will not be allowing “walk-in” customers. Anyone looking to purchase recreational marijuana from their store will need to utilize an app called “QLess,” or text NEA to (508) 687-5704.
