Fall River creates new subcommittee for cemetery care

News

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Officials in Fall River announced a new subcommittee will be created to discuss cemetery rules.

The committee, which will be comprised of three members from the Board of Park Commissioners, was established in response to residents who were frustrated after urns and planters were removed from graves at Oak Groves Cemetery.

Any proposed changes will require a majority vote by the Board to take effect, according to the city.
