Extensive damage at home after fire in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – A fire left extensive damage to at home on Sandy Brook Court, according to fire officials.

Warwick Battalion Chief Miles Steere tells Eyewitness News the call came in between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m Sunday night.

The attic appeared to be engulfed in flames.

“This was a very tough one to take down,” said Steere. “We had to have a lot of guys here. It was very labor intensive but we got and it’s out.”

The cause of the fire remains under investigation and no injuries were reported.
