PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Hours before the US Attorney’s Office detailed charges against him, former House Speaker Gordon Fox spoke exclusively to Target 12.

As Target 12 broke first, Fox, 53, has been charged with bribery, wire fraud and filing a false tax return, court documents unsealed Tuesday show. He has agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a three-year prison sentence, according to a plea agreement that has already been filed. He was scheduled to appear in court at noon Tuesday.

WPRI.com Reporter Dan McGowan caught up with Fox outside his East Providence home, where the disgraced politician confirmed the charges against him. The complete interview is above.
