It’s one of the most important contests on the ballot this November: the race for Rhode Island governor.

Incumbent Dan McKee and GOP challenger Ashley Kalus exchanged blows and outlined their vision for the state Tuesday night in a live, televised debate hosted by 12 News.

The debate was moderated by Target 12 Chief Investigative Reporter Tim White and 12 News Politics Editor Ted Nesi.
