RISD president, soon to retire, reflects on 7-year tenure

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) President Rosanne Somerson will step down at the end of the month after more than seven years leading the prestigious college.

In an interview with 12 News, Somerson talked about what she is most proud of accomplishing during her tenure, why tuition costs at RISD and other colleges are so high, and why Rhode Islanders should visit the RISD Museum.
