CANTON, Mass. (WPRI) — You might soon not even have to leave your desk to go on a mid-afternoon coffee run.
Dunkin’ Donuts just announced it’s testing a partnership with the delivery service DoorDash in select markets. The delivery service would allow customers to order drinks and food from their phones and have them delivered within 45 minutes. The program launches this week in Dallas.
That’s not the only way the restaurant chain is looking to make things more convenient for customers.
It’s also testing its new Dunkin’ Donuts On-the-Go app for its DD Perks members, which allows customers to order ahead with their phone and then pick up their order at the drive-thru. That service is being tested in Portland, Maine.
Both programs will then expand to Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
“The ability to skip the line to order your favorite coffee, donut or sandwich any time of day, or to have Dunkin’ items delivered directly to you are two things that our guests have been requesting for some time,” said Scott Hudler, Dunkin’ Donuts’ Vice President of Global Consumer Engagement. “We are excited to launch these two new tests, and we will continue to evaluate a possible national rollout for both programs in the future.”
