BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Professional golfers began to roll into Rhode Island Country Club on Sunday for the start of the 18th Annual CVS Health Charity Classic. Brad Faxon and Jason Dufner were some of the pros playing in the Pepsi Pro-Am prior to the real tournament beginning on Monday.
Four amateur players from the pro-am qualified to move on to the 6th Annual Pepsi MAX Amateur Shootout and will tee it up on Monday among the tournament’s main field.
Cumberland native Brad Adamonis, along with his amateur teammates Jeff Prairie, Steve Goodyear, Peter Bond, and Ed Renaud, finished with a 19-under-par 52, earning a spot to play alongside the pros during Monday’s tournament.

On Monday, June 27, tournament activities begin at 9:15 a.m. with a fun and entertaining opening ceremony featuring Golf Channel’s Gary Williams. The first round of tournament competition begins immediately following the opening ceremony with the final round slated for Tuesday, June 28 at 8 a.m. Pairings and tee times are as follows:

10:40 a.m. Pepsi Max Shootout (A.M. Group)
10:50 a.m. Brooke Henderson / Jamie Sadlowski, Morgan Pressel / Brad Faxon

11:20 a.m. Jason Bohn / Kevin Kisner, Billy Andrade / Bill Haas
