NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — Detectives are looking for the public’s help in finding a man who broke into a Pleasant Street bar last month.

New Bedford Police posted on their Facebook page a blurry picture from a surveillance camera. Shortly before 2 a.m. on November 23, the man broke into the Hungry Whale, 674 Pleasant Street in the city. “This image is the clearest visual we have,” police said.

The man is pictured behind the bar, wearing a hooded jacket with a camouflage print and a baseball cap under the raised hood. He appears to have a full mustache.

Anyone with information is asked to call New Bedford Police at (508) 991-6350 or email tip@newbedfordpd.com. An anonymous tip line is also available at (508) 992-7463.
