Police: Man robbed gas station armed with nail gun

FOSTER, R.I. (WPRI) — Police in Foster have arrested a man they said held up the Star Petro gas station on Danielson Pike armed with a nail gun.

The suspect entered the gas station Monday and demanded money from the clerk, according to police.

The man, identified as Dwayne M. Courtemanche, was taken into custody at the Glocester Motor Inn.

Courtemanche, 59 of Glocester, was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of first-degree robbery and held on $10,000 surety bail.
