FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — Crews were called to an early morning fire in Fall River. It happened inside a detached garage at a home on Seabury Street around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
The fire was quickly knocked down.
Eyewitness News has learned the home next to the garage was also damaged in a fire that happened last year. Two firefighters were injured battling the flames in May of 2015. Investigators believed that fire was caused by a portable heater.
There’s no word on the cause of Tuesday’s fire.
