Coventry Little League gets another mercy rule win, 10-0 over Vermont

The Coventry Little League team won in convincing fashion again on Monday beating Vermont, 10-0 by mercy rule in five innings and moving two wins away from the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.

Jake Mather continued the fine pitching from Rhode Island, throwing 4 2/3 scoreless innings. Coventry has yet to give up a run this tournament.

Coventry will play again Wednesday at 4 p.m. If they win, they will book their ticket to Saturday’s New England Championship game.
