WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (WPRI) — The Coventry Little League team will soon be welcomed home from Williamsport but before the boys begin their journey, they played one final game.

Representing New England at the Little League World Series, the team roughed up Australia in a consolation game Monday by a score of 15-0.

Coventry’s pitching held Queensland to just three hits while Tommy Turner led the team with four hits and four RBIs.

The boys on Thursday fell 3-1 to Houston and were then eliminated from the tournament with a 9-5 loss Saturday at the hands of Des Moines, Iowa.
