Some ocean affect snow is possible for southeastern Mass overnight, especially for Plymouth county and the Cape. A coating to an inch is possible.
Signs of Life For Snow Lovers?
Our weather pattern looks unsettled towards the end of the week and weekend, and that could mean snow! Our first chance will be on Friday, but some of the snow could mix with rain and this system does not look all that strong. So if we can squeeze out some snow for our area, it may not be a big accumulator.
A potentially more significant storm could move in late Saturday night through Monday.
It could start as rain, but some of the data suggest that this would change to snow as center of low pressure forms offshore Sunday into Monday. So this COULD be our first significant snow-accumulator in quite a while, but this is far from a sure thing. We will keep a close eye on this part of the forecast in the coming days. -Pete Mangione
