City fire officials said crews were returning from a call when they spotted smoke coming from a building on Freight Street.
They arrived to find a car on fire, the flames from which had spread up the side of the building.
There were no injuries and no residents were displaced.
Investigators are now looking for the cause of the fire.
A short time earlier, firefighters in Warren put out a fire that spread from a camper to a business on Cutler Street. There’s no indication the two incidents are connected in any way.
