News

BETHESDA, MD (CBS) — Late President Bush’s service dog Sully was placed in his new home at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Wednesday.

The dog stole America’s heart after pictures of him resting in front of late President Bush’s casket hit the internet. Now he’s moving on to help others.

It was President Bush’s idea to send Sully to Walter Reed– the dog’s vest will even carry the presidential seal. Sully was trained by American’s VetDogs, a charity that provides service animals for veterans.
