Providence police ID man shot and killed at auto repair shop

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police have identified the man shot and killed inside an auto repair shop off Harris Avenue.

Joshua Costa, 31, of Lincoln, was found unresponsive around 1 p.m. Friday.

His death marks the city’s fifth homicide of the year.

Police said the shooting was an isolated incident. No arrests have been made.
