PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WPRI) — A boat fire off of Hog Island in Portsmouth is under investigation.
A witness captured a picture of the flames aboard a 45-foot boat on Thursday afternoon.
The Coast Guard says they received the call around 3:30 p.m.
Three fire boats, including one from the North Kingstown fire department, worked to extinguish the blaze.
All three of the boat’s occupants made it safely to shore.
No injuries have been reported.
