EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — Celebrations will be held across New England for Sunday’s big game between the Patriots and the Rams, but there may only be one where fans can check out a pair of authentic Super Bowl rings.
From noon to 4 p.m., Linesider Brewing Co. will be hosting a pregame party at its brewery and tap room on South County Trail in East Greenwich.
“We’ll have 11 on tap this week for the game, so there’s plenty to chose from,” co-owner Dan Koppen said Friday.
Koppen won two championships during his nine seasons as a member of the Patriots.
“From ’03 to 2011 was my last year so I had a good run,” Koppen added. “A lot of good teammates, a lot of good wins, a lot of fun doing it.”
Linesider opened for business this past November. While the brewery won’t be open for the game itself on Sunday, attendees have plenty to be excited about, including a food truck serving up waffles and a chance to win Patriots tickets.
“Anybody that guesses the exact score – comes in, makes a purchase, limit one per customer, picks the score of the game – then we will give away two free tickets to a game next year,” Koppen said.
Koppen will also have his two Super Bowl rings on display for fans, however he noted that he may not be at the brewery for the entire celebration due to another obligation.
