Bank robbery in Warwick

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – Warwick police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a bank robber.

Police told Eyewitness News that a man robbed the Bank RI at 2975 West Shore Road at about 10:30 Saturday morning, escaping with an undetermined amount of money.

The man, described as being about six feet tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a bandana covering his face, brandished a gun during the robbery.

Lieutenant Rick Rathbun asked that anyone with information on the robbery should call Warwick Police Department detectives at 401-468-4233.
