Attleboro police searching for suspect in Cumberland Farms robbery


ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Attleboro are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a Cumberland Farms early Saturday morning.

It happened around midnight on County Street.

Police told Eyewitness News they don’t know if the suspect was armed, but did confirm he verbally threatened the clerk and got away with an unknown amount of money.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as an older, white male, approximately 60 to 70 years old with some facial hair. He was wearing a black jacket and a black hat.

As of Saturday morning, police said detectives are following several leads but have not made any arrests.
