Attleboro police search for suspect who robbed Honey Dew

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) – Attleboro police are looking for a suspect after the second store robbery in two days in the city.

The latest robbery happened Sunday morning at about 9:30, when a suspect robbed the Honey Dew on County Street. Police have not released much information about the suspect but confirmed they have multiple police dogs assisting in a search of the surrounding area.

It’s in the same strip mall as the Cumberland Farms that was robbed Friday night at midnight. According to police, in that robbery the suspect, an older white man, threatened the clerk and and made off with cash. It’s not clear if he was armed.

Police have not yet said if they think the two robberies are related.
