PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Emergency crews were called to a multi-car crash Tuesday in Pawtucket.
According to city fire officials, crews responded to the area of George Bennett Highway and Walcott Street around 8:35 p.m. for a three-car crash.
Five victims total were transported to hospitals, according to fire officials. Two were taken to Memorial Hospital and the remaining three were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. No one was seriously injured.
Officials said crews had to use the Jaws of Life on one car. Only one lane of traffic remained open while crews worked.
There is no word on what caused the accident.
