NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) — Police have arrested five women in New Bedford after they’re accused of offering sex for a fee to an undercover male officer.
The women were arrested on the streets of the city, in an area bordered by Tallman Street and Phillips Avenue, and Ashley Boulevard and Acushnet Avenue.
The suspects were:
- Deborah Botelho, 49, New Bedford
- Danielle Lee Costa, 29, Acushnet
- April Star Daniels, 45, New Bedford
- Nicole Tongue, 45, New Bedford
- Jaslyn Marie Williams, 27, New Bedford
All five were set to be arraigned on Wednesday morning at New Bedford District Court.
